ASA of Alabama has been in existence since 1979 serving and representing subcontractors, specialty trade contractors, and suppliers in the construction industry.
Several years ago, ASA of Alabama had a vision to expand our services and representation throughout the state of Alabama. Over the past few years, we have made tremendous strides in becoming a statewide association and we continue to make a positive impact in the industry. As a result, ASA of Alabama has become a respected and integral part of the construction community. We have established ourselves in Birmingham, Huntsville/Decatur, Montgomery, and South Alabama and we are reaching out to subcontractors in other areas of the state. We have a solid foundation and we are committed to continuing to build our association.

2012-13 ASA President Walter Bazan Jr. Honors Kerrick Whisenant with President’s Award
LAS VEGAS, Nev. — 2012-13 American Subcontractors Association President Walter Bazan Jr., Bazan Painting Co., St. Louis, Mo., honored Kerrick Whisenant with the ASA President’s Award on March 22, 2013, at the ASA Business Forum and Convention 2013 in Las Vegas. The ASA President’s Award is given by the current ASA president on a discretionary basis to an individual who has helped the president the most during his term.
